Summer is running around with no shoes.
Summer is swimming.
Summer is dancing in the rain.
Summer is staying up late.
Summer is playing in the waves.
Summer is a late afternoon thunderstorm.
Summer is catching lightening bugs.
Summer is climbing a tree.
Summer is tank top tan lines.
Summer is blueberry picking.
Summer is watermelon seed spitting.
Summer is sitting in a swing and listening to the birds.
Summer is but a season..
But the memories of summer are a lifetime.

Very well said! Oh how I will miss summer...I am not a fan of fall or winter (well my muscles don't like it so that makes me not!)

The older I get, the more I appreciate summer. It's such a short little block of time each year [or at least it seems to me]...but I do enjoy fall. In fact, it's may favorite season...so I'm always excited for autumn.

I'm over summer! Tired of being outside for 2 minutes and being soaked in sewat, yuck! Bring on winter! Florida winter that is!
