I hate cigarettes. HATE them. So if some adult wants to smoke them and literally suck the life out of themselves, fine. If they want to take 10+ years off their lives by smoking a pack a day, fine. They are adults. But my problem is this..
Adults, who by all means should know better, smoking in their cars with their children in there. And what really ticks me off is when I see these little carseats with small innocent children strapped in them with their parents puffing away with the windows up, no less. It.ticks.me.off. No one should be smoking in a car period with a child in it, but with the windows UP.. My goodness! I was driving home this afternoon with my three precious cargoes in the backseat and this minivan is in front of us. I see the mom and dad in the car laughing and puffing away on their cancer sticks and then notice in the very back two carseats. And then I see a little head moving in one of those carseats. Broke my heart. To know that the poor child's lungs were probably full of debris and gunk from his/her's parents' second hand smoke. Ugh. Seriously, there should be a law against that. Seriously!
I'm totally ticked off right now.
Do some parents just not care? I mean they know it's bad for their own health and they have to know it bad for their kid's health. Right?
UGH!!!!!!

AMEN.
There is NOTHING that gets me as worked up as what you just wrote about. It SHOULD be illegal to smoke near kids. I just don't get it.
On a side note, my nephew always smells like cigarette smoke. It kills me to know he is being exposed to smoke.
People who are as careless and stupid as those who basically blow cancer down their kids' throats should not have kids.
UGH.
I hear ya. I'm sure those parents just don't care. :(
I am with you on this!! And you know they say that second hand smoke is worse!! It is completly uncalled for.
I couldn't agree more. I used to smoke, which makes me sick just thinking about it, but as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I stopped. I've never looked back and I never will.
The whole act of smoking sickens me at this point.
Seeing that would have ticked me off too. You're not alone. :(
XOXO
Hard to believe they don't know how dangerous that is, and sad to think they do know and just don't care. :(
Amen sista!
I HATE it..
I grew up around smokers but once I got married and moved out on my own that was that...no one smokes in my house...I lived with it for 20yrs...don't want it in my household...some may think that is rude...but oh well! Feel free to smoke on my porch or patio...just pick up your ciggy butts...eww!
I am terrible about it I just can't stand it!
I would do anything if my mom would quit...I worry about her health
Hugs
Terri
