DeSoto Caverns

We live close by a huge cavern that is called DeSoto Caverns. A really neat place. There is a huge cave that was discovered centuries ago by the Native Americans. We took the kids there today and they had a great time. When we got there we were basically the only people there so we got our very own private tour. It was nice to take our time, let the kids really look at the cave, ask questions, etc. After the tour of the cave we did some the "attractions" that they had which involved putt-putt golf, a maze, crystal hunting and some "canons" (Nerf type balls that you could shoot at each other). The kids had a great time doing it all. And it was a beautiful day to do it. I totally forgot my camera (Ugh!) but we did take some pictures with Kent's cell phone. After arriving at the park.
