November 5th
The best part of November 5th is that the election is over. TWO years this has been going on. Now no more political commercials to watch, no more emails, no more phone calls and no more political mail. That's the good news. The bad news... well... you know... John McCain didn't win. I wish he would have, I wish that morals in this country were stronger. But they're not. Money drives everything, I guess. So with that.. my prayers will go to Obama for wisdom and knowledge. I just hope that in 4 years we aren't in worse shape than when we started. I hope not.. I really, really do.

As for Obama...eesh...I don't know where to begin. I think he's a nice guy. I think he wants to help. I think he would be a fabulous community organizer (or whatever he was). I just don't trust a man who can be friends with someone who is a domestic terrorist and others who seem to dislike the country he's going to lead. That and the fact that he's going to feed into people's attitude that they are ENTITLED to have what they want without earning it. Yuck. NO thank you. Well, all we can do is pray that we are wrong. I really would love to be wrong about him. (That's the difference between us and the liberal media)
I wasn't forced to endure the political ads, since we're in Germany and our tv station here is not allowed to show that (total bi-partisan), but I was well informed thanks to Fox News and Bill O'Reilly and the fact that I can read! LOL
I too was so saddened that John McCain did not win. I actually just couldn't hold the tears back yesterday morning when I turned on my tv and saw that Obama had won. I fear for our country in so many ways.
I don't trust him, I don't believe he has our nation's best interest at heart. I believe he wants to lead us into socialism and because there are so many uninformed and simply ignorant (in the true sense/definition of the word)they have no idea. They just want what they have not worked for or deserved, because others who've worked hard should be paying their way through life. Makes me physically ill to be honest.
