An interesting fact.

At this time 26 years ago.. I wasn't born. Give me about 12 more hours and I would be.

It's mine again

35 months of pregnancy (2 miscarriages and 3 healthy births).
27 months of breastfeeding.
And finally, my body is mine again.

Nathan is weaned. He actually did it quiet easily. He is content to sip his sippy in the mornings while watching cartoons with his siblings in our bed.

For Sale

Our house hit the market today. We have the yard sign and everything now. So it's official. We're hoping it won't be on the market long. Some family members are looking at buying it, so we will see how that pans out. Either way, the house we built, the house Jon Kent first slept in a big boy bed in, the house Zoey took her first steps in, the house we brought Nathan home from the hospital to will soon no longer be ours. Kind of sad. OK, a lot sad.

My name's Builder. Bob the Builder.
And yes, that is a massive bruise over his eye. He got that yesterday after thinking he could take on the wooden rocking chair.

Got my grades back from Psychology and A&P. Got an 'A' in Psy. and a 'B' in A&P. Wish it were an 'A'.. but like Kent said.. "It's better than a 'C' or 'D'."

Not Me! Monday

To check out all the other Not Me! Monday participants head on over to MckMama's blog and read all about it.

Here is what I totally did not do this week:

I did not forget to put sunscreen on my kids and thusly they did not get sunburned. And since I didn't do that, they didn't flinch in pain when we gave them a bath. I am much too pulled together to allow any of that to happen.

I also did not let my little baby boy go down the slide by himself just so I could take a picture of him during his crash landing.

This is not that picture:

I did not have to explain to my 3 year old daughter that she certainly did not really want to wear a pad just like mommy. And while we are on that subject, I do not try to shoo away the kids from the bathroom during those times of the month just so I don't have to answer the 435,985,934,756 questions that are sure to follow.

So, ahem..

What did you not do this week?

McCafe

The kids and I were out and about in town this morning running some errands and making a Wal-Mart run. After getting all that done I decided to swing by McDonald's for lunch.

Yeah, yeah.. I'm clogging my kids arteries and making them obese.

I ordered a 10 piece nugget meal for all the kids to split and then an Iced Mocha for me. We got home and the kids ate their lunch and I drank my drink. I'm not a everyday coffee person. But when I do get some I like it to be strong. Not plain black coffee strong but just enough of a kick. That drink was STRONG. Granted it has espresso in, but still. The first swig of it, I was like.. ummm, no. This isn't good. But I kept drinking it and about half way though I think my taste buds surrender and shut down. Because I drank it all. It wasn't horribly bad, but it's not Starbucks either.. obviously. Zoey thought I was drinking ice cream and kept wanting some.. so the wonderful mother that I am, I let her have a sip. Yeah.. she probably will never drink coffee again. In her words, it tasted like "poopie". Didn't know she was a connoisseur of poopie but apparently so. It left a bad taste in her mouth, literally. I'm sorry, but I laughed.

So on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best coffee drink ever.. I give it a 5. Zoey would probably give it a negative 10. You know because it tasted like poopie.
