Helpful sites?
I'm looking for light pink shoes to go with Zoey's Easter dress and so far no such luck. Anyone got any sites that would be useful in this search? And also.. I am looking for a 1st birthday shirt or outfit for Nathan. Anyone have any sites for ideas on that? Any help would be much appreciated. I've been searching and searching and so far haven't found anything that I've liked. I'm hoping some of my readers have some sites they love and are willing to share.

A week off and a night of rest
No school for 11 days. Spring break... what will I do with it... Let's see.. anniversary is Monday (16th). Kent is taking the day off (awww!) and we will be leaving the kids around 2pm and spending the afternoon and evening together.. alone. And then the rest of the week... hmmm.. who knows but it won't be spent going to school. Yeehaw!
Nathan slept through the night last night. His second time doing it. When he does wake up now though all I have to do is go lay him back down, stick his pappy in his mouth, cover him up and he is back to sleep (usually) before I get back into bed. Nice. It only took 11 months.. but really, who is counting?

I need another set of eyes.
Kent and I were in Dick's Sporting Goods looking for the kids (Jon Kent and Zoey) some baseball cleats. I was bent over putting Zoey's cleats on and Kent was looking at something or another. He walks over and asks, "Where is Jon Kent?" Without lifting my head, I said he was around here running around. Which he was not two seconds before that. Kent says, "I don't see him." I stood up and looked around.. didn't see him.
My heart sank.
Kent and I both are frantically looking around. I looked under clothes racks and Kent runs to the backroom to see if Jon Kent ducked in there. As Kent came out of the backroom so did about 3 or 4 employees/managers. I was watching the front door and looking around and still we couldn't find him. All the employees were looking for him by that time and finally, FINALLY Kent found him in the basketball equipment.
HUGE sigh of relief.
I made him come over to me and I hugged him but then popped his butt for walking off that like. I explained to him that he is never to walk away from us like that because a stranger could come and take him away and we wouldn't see him again. I asked him if he had ever been scared before and he said yes and then I asked him if he liked being scared and he said no. I said that is exactly how momma and daddy felt when we couldn't find him.
He has never done anything like this before. I guess he is getting older and more confident. Which is good and is bad. He is testing his boundaries but today he went a little too far.

Wonderful Day
Can I get a "Yeehaw!!!"?
Jon Kent-ism
Yesterday I was cleaning up the kitchen and Zoey declared that something stunk. Then walks off... smart girl.
Anyway..
I peak my head around the corner and Jon Kent and Nathan are playing in the floor. I asked Jon Kent if Nathan poopied. He said he didn't know but would check for me. So he bends down and smells Nathan's butt.
"He didn't poopie. His butt smells sweet."

Not Me! Monday (Sunday Edition)
Except it's on Sunday...
This blog carnival was brought to you by MckMama. Go over and check her and all the other partakers in this week's Not Me! Monday.
I did not, no matter what anyone else tells you, completely fall off the no more caffeine wagon because I was stressed out. First of all, I don't get stressed. Secondly, I have more will power than that.
I did not totally lose my cool with Zoey when she wanted to do "just one more thing" before nap. I did not later have to apologize to her for losing my cool. I'm the most perfect mother in the world, therefore I would never lose my patience with my precious and only baby girl.
I did not again lose my cool with Zoey (pattern?) when she spilled her "black chocolate shake milk". Again, I'm the most perfect mother in the world and would never do such a thing.
I did not think on more than one occasion this week what it would have been like to wait the 5-6 years we had originally planned to wait to have children. I love each of my blessings and would never day dream of life without them.. never.
I did not have a headache from down under (no, not Australia) last night because my body was withdrawing from not having caffeine that day. That would not have happened because I didn't fall off the no caffeine wagon. Really.. I didn't.
I did not get so frustrated trying to make Nathan's first birthday invitation that I stomped away from the computer like a child.
And then after my husband said so nonchalantly that it would be easier to do it another way, I did not declare that he must know it all and therefore he can do the whole sha-bang without me!
And speaking of Nathan's first birthday.. he is not turning one in 29 days... really he's not. I'm stopping time.
So.. what did you not do this week?
